A guard is a type of employee you can hire to work in your store.

They help you by catching robbers in your store. They are more effective when paired with security cameras or security gates.

You can use the security overlay in build mode (see image) to see where you want to add more cameras.
Since the security overhaul (18/12/2024) it is not necessary to have cameras all around your store. Just having the experimental cameras at the exits is enough to stop the robbers.

Each time they level up, they move 15% faster (level 5: 60% faster).
